• Floors: Vacuum carpets/rugs; sweep and mop hard flooring.

• Details: Disinfect high-touch areas (light switches, remote controls, door handles, thermostats).

• Staging: Ensure remote controls, guidebooks, and decor match host staging photos.

Bedrooms

• Linen Change: Strip used bed linens and pillowcases; remake beds with fresh, clean linens (stretched tight, hotel style).

• Dusting & Cleaning: Dust nightstands, headboards, dressers, and lamp bases.

• Storage Check: Check drawers and closets for guest belongings left behind or trash.

• Floors & Surfaces: Vacuum/mop floors, including under accessible bed edges.

Bathrooms

• Sanitization: Thoroughly scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, and bathtubs.

• Glass & Mirrors: Clean mirrors and glass shower doors (streak-free).

• Towels & Staging: Fold and display clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths according to host preferences.

• Restocking: Replenish host-provided toiletries (toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap).

• Floors & Trash: Sweep and mop floors; empty and sanitize trash cans.

Kitchen & Dining Area

• Dishwashing: Run dishwasher or hand-wash, dry, and put away clean dishes, cookware, and utensils.

• Appliances:

  • Clean microwave interior and exterior.

  • Wipe down stove top, oven exterior, and refrigerator exterior/handles.
